Welcome back to Term 4. We have some updates from the Instrumental Music Program at CRCCS. Ms Abby Pemmelaar is taking a break in Term 4 (due to another awesome opportunity in the community) but we have organised two very talented music teachers to take on her lessons in both voice and piano.

Choir will not run this term due to the strict return to school policies issued from the government but all choirs including College Choir, Boys Choir and Acapella will return in Term 1.

Please see below for some information on our new instrumental teachers for Term 4.

Lorraine Salvador (Piano and Voice)

Lorraine Salvador is a Melbourne based professional singer, keyboardist and music educator. She holds an Undergraduate Degree in Music from Monash University and has studied contemporary singing in Australia, Italy and the United States. Lorraine has been teaching voice and piano for over ten years and is passionate about sharing her expertise as a musician and vocalist.

Elise Mizzi (Voice)

Elise Toni Mizzi is a Melbourne based vocalist well versed in the art of music entertainment and teaching.

As a past student of CRC Caroline Springs’, Elise starred in our very first school production of Disney’s Aladdin as Princess Jasmine. In 2018, Elise performed to a sold-out crowd at her very own solo concert with rave reviews, even gaining the approval from global super star Michelle Williams of the multi award winning group Destiny’s Child!

She has been a voice teacher and student rock band manager for eight years. During this time she has taken her students on performance tours to the Gold Coast, created the ‘Music Zone’ at the annual The Color Run event at Flemington Racecourse and has seen all of her students pass their ANZCA voice examinations with an average a score of 90!

Elise has performed at multiple iconic Melbourne venues including Bennett’s Lane, BMW Edge at Federation Square and the Crown Entertainment Complex. Elise was also honoured to be invited to sing the Australian anthem at the Royal Melbourne Show in 2019 and was the original voice of the CRC Caroline Springs school song ‘The Future’.

Our College offers instrumental lessons in the following; voice, piano, guitar, bass, drums and ukulele. Please email kfranzone@crccs.vic.edu.au if you have an enquiry about starting lessons at CRCCS.
