Our school celebrated Book Week from 24 - 27 August, with this year’s theme, “Bands, Books and Stories.” The theme provided us with a wonderful opportunity to showcase books featuring music and celebrate the connections between music, books and storytelling.
The library was transformed with purple streamers and two giant guitars, creating a fun and colourful atmosphere for students. A Book Fair was also held, giving students the opportunity to purchase books at discounted prices.
Throughout Book Week, library staff organised a range of competitions and lunchtime activities, including a pinata, Wheel of Fortune and photo wall. It was wonderful to see so many students getting involved and enjoying the activities.
Congratulations to our winners!
