During Arts and Technology week, students had the opportunity to build a working computer using a Raspberry Pi — all in a lunchtime!
In this hands-on activity, students connected components, learned how each part worked, and watched with pride as their mini-computer powered up for the first time. Students then had a go at writing their own code to run on their newly built computer, discovering just how much they could create with a few simple lines. A few students revealed some hidden coding talents.
It was a fast-paced session full of curiosity, teamwork, and “aha!” moments. A perfect mix of creativity, problem-solving, and fun.
